1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Aktiflame platform (the "Service"), whether through the website, the admin panel, the activist portal, or the mobile app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of the service
Aktiflame is a platform that connects activism organizations with their communities of activists through three components: an admin panel for managing teams and actions, a portal for activists to confirm their participation, and a mobile app for access from anywhere.
3. Registration and accounts
Access to the Service is contracted at the organization level: the organization is the party that accepts these Terms and creates, from its management panel, the accounts for its users (activists and administrators). Each user registered by their organization decides whether to access the account created for them. The organization is responsible for the users it registers, for keeping login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under those accounts, and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Organizations, roles, and hierarchy
Aktiflame operates on a multi-organization model: each organization manages its own space, teams, and actions independently. Access to Service features depends on the role assigned within the organization (for example, activist, administrator, or system manager). Each organization is responsible for managing the roles and permissions of its own users.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- Use the platform for illegal or fraudulent activity, or to infringe the rights of third parties.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data belonging to other organizations.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service or attempt to bypass its security measures.
- Upload defamatory or discriminatory content, or content that incites violence.
6. Organization content and data
Each organization retains ownership of the content and data it uploads to the Service (team information, actions, communications). By using the Service, you grant Aktiflame a limited license to store, process, and display that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
7. Intellectual property
The software, design, the "Aktiflame" brand, and other elements of the platform are owned by Aktiflame or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to those elements, other than the right to use the Service as set out here.
8. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available on a continuous basis, but we do not guarantee it will be free of interruptions, errors, or failures. Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, or events beyond our control.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aktiflame will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, participation, or organizing opportunities.
10. Termination
Access to the Service may be suspended or terminated if these Terms are breached. An organization may request deletion of its account and data at any time by writing to hello@aktiflame.com.
11. Changes to these terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. The current version will be published on this same page along with the last-updated date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Aktiflame is incorporated, without prejudice to any consumer-protection rules that may apply based on your location.
